No updates necessary. Appointments is a Cloud software.

Is there an option to have the monthly Calander showing all the time how it is now?

Yes, you can use the menu at the top to toggle between staff schedules-use day/week/month view.

Will my current settings reset?

All custom settings made to your account will stay.

When this goes live will all preexisting appointments cross over?

Yes, no changes will be made to your appointments booked.

How can we print the schedules?

This can be done by running a report in the Reports section, there is an option to print the report at the bottom of the screen.

Is the appointment calendar compatible with Outlook calendar or Outlook booking system?

Yes, you can sync your Outlook calendar to Appointments.

Full-Page Appointment Grid View

  • Expand the grid using the expand icon for a distraction-free view

  • No Pagination: Scroll horizontally to view all selected resources

  • Sticky Labels: Filters, resource names, and time labels stay in place during scroll

Calendar Zoom Levels

Adjust the view depending on your workload:

  • Small Mode (9 resources): Status bar + customer name

  • Medium Mode (7 resources): Adds icons, service name, PO number

  • Large Mode (5 resources): Up to 3 lines of appointment info

How to Adjust Zoom:

  1. Go to Appointments homepage

  2. Hover over the Zoom icon for tooltip

  3. Click and select your preferred zoom level in the slider modal

Child Selection and Display

  • When a customer with children is selected:

    • A dropdown menu allows staff to select one or more children.

  • On the customer card:

    • Selected child names appear with a ā€œChildrenā€ tag.

    • Multiple child names are shown as a comma-separated list.

    • Parent/guardian details remain visible below the children’s section for context.

Child Avatar Behavior:

  • Single Child Selected:

    • Displays a circular avatar (photo or initials).

  • Multiple Children Selected:

    • Avatar is hidden to prioritize name visibility.

    • Card content is left-aligned for consistency.


Child Profile Access

  • Each child’s name on the customer card is clickable.

  • Clicking opens the Edit Child slide-out, preloaded with the child’s details for quick access and edits.


Appointment Creation and Workflow

  • Upon saving a child-level appointment:

    • The Create Appointment slide-out automatically closes.

    • The Details slide-out opens, showing selected children.

  • Each child receives an individual appointment record (one per child).


Details Slide-Out Enhancements

  • The customer card reflects:

    • The same list of selected children with ā€œChildrenā€ tags.

    • Clickable child names, linking directly to their Edit Child slide-out.


Profile Image Preview (With Picture Upload Plug-In Enabled)

  • Clickable avatars now open a full-size image modal preview.

  • If no image is available (initials shown), the avatar is not clickable.

  • For child appointments:

    • Only the child’s avatar is shown.

    • Parent avatars are hidden to reduce visual clutter.

Services List Page

The Services List has received a significant overhaul with a streamlined UI and better data controls.

  • Modern List Table UI - View all services and add-ons with a cleaner, more readable layout.

  • Use radio buttons to switch between:

    • Services

    • Add-On Services

  • Sort & Reorder Services:

    • Drag and drop to reorder items directly in the list view.

    • Click the ā€œUpdateā€ button to save changes.

    • Column sorting is available for Title, Cost, and Duration.

  • Pagination & Display Control:

    • Navigate through large lists with pagination controls.

    • Customize the view using the ā€œRecords per pageā€ selector (e.g., 10, 25, 50 records per page).

Add Service or Add-On

A streamlined "Create" experience makes adding new services and add-ons more efficient.

  • Slide-Out Panel:

    • Clicking Create opens a right-hand slide-out.

    • Enter details like Title, Cost, Duration, and Description.

  • Post-Creation Flow:

    • The form closes upon submission.

    • A success toast confirms creation.

    • User is redirected to the new Service or Add-On details page for review and configuration.

Key Improvements in Create Flow:

  • Add-Ons Selection:

    • Old: Checkbox-based add-on selections.

    • New: Clean multi-select dropdown improves speed and reduces clutter.

  • Service Times:

    • Old: Configured during service creation.

    • New: Moved to a dedicated Service Times tab post-creation. This improves initial creation speed and reduces cognitive load.

Daily Service Limits

Managing service availability is easier with inline editing and contextual modals.

  • Daily Limits:

    • Click on a specific day (e.g., Monday) to edit directly inline.

    • The Update button becomes active when changes are made, allowing quick saves.

  • Exception Limits:

    • Moved to a modal window for clearer usability.

    • Select specific dates and set limits with improved layout and flow.

āš ļø Note: Some tabs within the Service Details page (For example: Service Exceptions, Areas) are preference-enabled and have only received UI alignment updates. Their functionality remains unchanged and is not included in this release's documentation.
