The Customer page has been completely refreshed with a new visual design.
Here are a few notable updates about the Customer page:
The menu option for Customers is still located in the top menu bar, but it has been slightly shifted to the right of the DaySmart Appointments logo.
The alphabetical search option at the top has been removed.
The search navigation has been shifted from vertical to horizontal.
After searching, you can now see the date the customer's account was created and their account status.
You now have the option to export their contact information directly to Microsoft Outlook from the search screen.

We’ve made several visual changes to improve readability and navigation. Here are a few notable updates:
The menu options at the top have been shifted and adjusted and has a new "More" section

Staff/Room Filters, Calendar, and Appointment Status Legend have been relocated for improved accessibility.
Relocated Filters for Better Accessibility
Filters Above the Grid: Staff/room filters have been moved from the left navigation to directly above the appointment grid.
Always Visible: Filters remain accessible at the top of the grid, allowing users to adjust resource selections without losing context.
Benefit: Saves time and ensures a streamlined workflow by keeping critical controls easily reachable.

Full Page for the Appointment Grid
Dedicated View: A new full-page appointment grid view is introduced for a focused and larger display.
Toggle Between Views: Users can expand the appointment grid by clicking the expand icon, providing a distraction-free experience with minimal scrolling and more visible appointment details.
Seamless Transition: To return to the standard homepage view, users can click the collapse icon.

No More Pagination: Pagination controls for staff/room calendars have been removed.
Scrollable Grid: Users can scroll horizontally to view all selected resources beyond the default five calendars displayed.
Containerized Grid: Ensures filters, resource names, and time slot labels remain visible while scrolling.
Benefit: Reduces complexity, improves accessibility, and allows users to maintain context while viewing additional resources..
New Calendar
Top-Middle Placement: The date picker has been relocated to the top-middle section of the page.
Improved Clarity: Users can easily identify and adjust the calendar date they are working with.
Benefit: Provides clear visibility and quick access to date controls, enhancing navigation and reducing confusion.

Notes & Reminders now accessible via a top-menu icon on the homepage.
Count Display: The icon shows the count of notes/reminders for the current day.
Slide-Out Panel for Notes
Quick Access: Icon to open a slide-out panel.
Default View: Displays notes for the current day by default.
Filter Options available (example: by date range)
Add Notes button located at the bottom of the panel. Use the following built out options: From, To, Note, Created By, and Date.

This will give you the ability to not only change the size of the calendar but it will adjust the number of resources you see.

Navigate to the Appointments Homepage.
Locate the Zoom icon at the top of the calendar grid.
Hover over the icon to see the tooltip: "Adjust Calendar Zoom."
Click the icon to open the Zoom Option.

Use the slider in the modal to select one of the three zoom modes:

Overlapping Appointments Support
Overlapping Appointments Support
Customers with overlapping appointments preference enabled will see space to the right of the appointment card (instead of a '+' sign). Clicking this space opens the Make an Appointment Window.
If multiple appointments are scheduled in the same time slot:
Appointment cards are displayed based on the selected zoom level and staff selection.
A "X" indicator (total number of appointments scheduled in that slot) appears before the appointment cards if not all are visible due to space. Clicking the indicator opens a slide-out displaying all appointments in that time slot.
Clicking any appointment in the slide-out opens the Make an Appointment details page.

Our February release focuses on our Multiple Appointments Per Time Slot (MAPTS) Feature.
This feature update enables businesses to schedule and manage multiple appointments within the same time slot. This will allow better utilization of resources and scheduling flexibility.

Recurring Appointment with Conflicts
If a recurring appointment series has conflicts, a conflict icon will appear on the appointment card. Clicking the icon opens a slide-out panel with recurring appointment details and conflicts.
Conflicts Tab: Displays failed instances with dates and reasons.
Details Tab: Shows recurring appointment details, allowing users to update the series (e.g., date, time, staff) and save changes via the Save button.
Recurring Appointment:
If a recurring series has no conflicts (i.e., no failed instances), the Recurring Appointment icon is displayed. Clicking on it opens an off-canvas panel with:
Details Tab: Displays full recurring appointment details.
Edit Options: Allows updating recurrence settings (date, time, staff, etc.).
Save Changes: Apply updates with the Save button.

Enhanced Viewing: Paginated records with per-page controls.
New Customer Search: Quickly find a customer's recurring appointment.

Phase 7: The new Waiting List UI/UX delivers a cleaner, faster, and more intuitive experience for managing waitlisted customers. The redesigned interface improves visibility, reduces clicks, and streamlines tasks like adding entries, setting priorities, and booking appointments.

Modernized Waiting List Drop-down on the Homepage
Redesigned drop-down showing waitlisted customers with clear visibility.
Customer priority flag (High / Medium / Low) displayed before each name for quick triage.
A clear “Add to Wait List” CTA at the bottom opens an intuitive slide-out for quick entry.

Users can search/select: Customer, Service, Add-ons, Staff, Rooms, Number in Group, Set Priority (High, Medium, Low) — defaults to Low, Add Notes
Success toast message confirms addition once saved.
Search Functionality
Search by customer name (first or last) in real-time.
Combined use of search and fields allows quick isolation of desired records.
Edit & View Waitlist Entries
Edit option available from both the homepage dropdown and the Waiting List page.
Clicking Edit opens a slide-out form allowing users to:
Change Date, Time, Location, Service, Priority, Staff, Notes.
Note: Customer Name field is read-only and cannot be changed.
Unsaved changes trigger a discard confirmation modal.
Save updates shows a success toast and refreshes the list.
Delete Confirmation Workflow
Users can delete a waitlist record via the action column.
A delete confirmation modal prevents accidental deletion.
On confirmation: record is deleted, success toast shown, and the list refreshes.
On cancel: modal closes, no changes made.
Priority Management
Priority (Low / Medium / High) is shown next to customer names for fast recognition.
Priority can be updated anytime by editing the record.
Customers added via the Customer View default to Low Priority in the Site Admin interface
Waitlist Page List Table Enhancements
A clean, modern table design for easy scanning of customer records.
Key upgrades include:
Pagination Controls for better navigation across long lists.
Adjustable Rows Per Page — users can select how many records to display at once.
Column Sorting — sort customer records by clicking any sortable column header.
Responsive Layout to ensure smooth usage across devices.
