How do I tell the system my vacation days?

There are two ways to set up vacation days or holidays in DaySmart Appointments. You can use the "Closed Days' section found after clicking the "Settings" tab, or the "Days Off" section found within each Staff Member's profile.

Closed Days

Creating a closed day will automatically block out that day on all schedules. This is most useful when you need to close all schedules for days such as federal holidays.

Click: "Settings" tab > Closed Days

Days Off

If you set a day to be a closed day for a particular Staff Member, such as when they would like to take a day off, then that day off would only apply to the staff member and not to the organization as a whole.

Click: "Staff Members" tab > Select a Profile > Days Off
