Why can't I see clickable hyperlinks when using Microsoft Outlook?
Based on the configuration of your own Microsoft Outlook application, hyperlinks, including those for Action Links, may display as a URL in plain text which is not clickable by the Customer.
This is a setting within Outlook used to perform auto-correct actions. For users who wish to have the clickable hyperlink in their DaySmart Appointments email notifications, please follow the steps below.
Turn automatic hyperlinking on & off.
Automatic hyperlinking is turned on by default, but you can turn it off.
Outlook 2013
Click the File tab, then select Options.
Click Mail.
Under Compose messages, click Spelling and Autocorrect.
Click AutoCorrect Options, then click the AutoFormat tab and locate the Replace section.
• To turn off automatic hyperlinking, clear the "Internet and network paths with hyperlinks" check box.
• To turn it back on, select the "Internet and network paths with hyperlinks" check box.
Outlook 2010
Click the File tab, and then click Options.
Click Mail.
Under Compose messages, click Editor Options.
Click AutoCorrect Options, then click AutoFormat As You Type.
• To turn off automatic hyperlinking, clear the Internet and network paths with hyperlinks check box.
• To turn it back on, select the Internet and network paths with hyperlinks check box.
NOTE: In cases where the steps do not produce the desired result, please update Windows and Office with the latest Microsoft updates and repeat the process above for your version of Outlook.
