Book Appointments from Facebook

Allow your customers to schedule Appointments and Events from a "Book Now" button on your Facebook business page.

Facebook’s Calls to Action buttons allow businesses to create targeted action buttons for their customers and social media audience. These buttons are also prominently placed in the header image on your business’s page.

To get started, you will need a:

  • Facebook account (Facebook sign-in required)

  • DaySmart Appointments account (You will need to be logged in)

Adding a Facebook Business Page and Book Now Button

  1. Log in to your DaySmart Appointments® scheduling system account from www.daysmartappointments.com

  2. Hover your cursor over the Customer View link at the top right corner of the page, then select the Facebook Marketing link.

  3. Adding new Facebook Book Now button:

a. Log in to Facebook and go to your business page.

b. Click on "Add a Button" (located at the bottom of the cover image).

c. On the "Add a Button to Your Page" page, click on the "Choose a Button" drop down and select the "Book Now" call to action.

d. In the "Website" field, enter your direct booking link, which will be available directly from this list of instructions.

e. Leave the "Set up a Link to an App" as “No” and click the "Create" button.

f. The header image of your page will now display a new "Book Now" button.

Where is my button visible?

The Facebook button is available for any visitor to your business page, whether they are on a computer or mobile device web browser. It is displayed at the top of the page prominently within the header image.

Information on Facebook Business Pages and Calls to Action

Facebook business pages (create a Facebook page for your business) support social media initiatives for businesses, including contact with fans and followers, an open forum for community support, and additional marketing tools, including calls to action and insights into your fan base.

The Calls to Action button allows you to set up a “Book Now” button for friends and fans to book appointments directly through Facebook. Additionally, you can leverage other Facebook tools to promote or report on the engagement of your audience.
