What is cache and how do I clear it from my browser? (Windows Browser Versions)

  • PRICING TIER: All

  • APPOINTMENT VERSION: Single & Multiple

Cache is a series of small data files stored through a computers browser that allow you to access websites faster. When you visit a website repeatedly, instead of downloading the content again, it will reuse the data files that were previously downloaded. This means that with some of our updates, you may not see the results immediately because the old data is cached.

To make sure you have the best performance of DaySmart Appointments software when using the latest windows browser versions, please review and follow the appropriate instructions to clear your cache.

Internet Explorer

NOTE: IE8 has a feature which will retain some cookies, even after you delete your cache if you do not deselect the Preserve Favorites Website Data. If you want to make sure you clear your cache, deselect this option.
