Can I schedule more than one Customer in a time slot?

  • Pricing Tier: Any

  • Appointment Version: Single & Multiple (Gold only)

Regardless of which version of the DaySmart Appointments scheduling system you are using, your administrative account can be configured to allow additional Appointments to be created at the same time.

Note: Customers can still only create an Appointment at an open or available time. They will not be able to book into a time that is already filled.

Allow Additional Appointments in SAPTS

If you only occasionally need to schedule multiple appointments within the same time slot in Site Administration, a preference is available for each version of the system to allow overlapping appointments. This will display the plus icon (

plus.png

) icon next to your existing Appointments to schedule additional appointments.

To allow additional Appointments to be scheduled:

  • Click Settings

  • Click Appointments

  • Locate and set #29 If using the one appointment per time slot version, allow additional appointments to be made in the same time slot (only applies to site administration) and allow overlapping appointments to Yes

  • Click Update

Allow Additional Appointments in MAPTS

You can schedule more than one client in a time slot for a particular staff member by using our Multiple Appointments per Time Slot version of the system. The Multiple Appointments Per Time Slot version is only available if you have subscribed to the Gold price tier or higher, and can only be enabled by a DaySmart Appointments representative.

With Multiple Appointments Per Time Slot, you can set up fixed time slots and designate the maximum number of appointments you will allow in that time slot within each staff member profile. This version is ideal if you need to allow more than one customer to schedule appointments within the same time slot through the Customer View.

To allow additional Appointments to be scheduled:

  • Click Settings

  • Click Appointments

  • Locate and set #18. If using the multiple appointments per time slot version, allow admin users to add more than the maximum number of appointments in a time slot to Yes

  • Click Update
