How do I add additional time to the Appointment Calendar?

As your business grows, you may find that you need to adjust the open hours of your business to provide your Staff Members with more time during the day to see Customers or fulfill Services.

There are a couple of changes that need to be made in order to add more time to the daily schedule for Staff Members. The first step is to change the hours of the Location(s) that need to have their hours increased:

  1. Click Lists

  2. Choose the Location where the increased scheduling time is needed

  3. Click Open Hours

  4. Modify the daily schedule as dictated by your business needs

  5. Click Update

You’ll repeat these above steps if you have multiple Locations. Alternately, you can also change the Location from the drop-down field in the upper right of the application. Then start with step 3 above.

After you have increased the daily schedule for the Location, you can now modify the schedule of the Staff Members assigned to that Location.

  1. Click Staff Members

  2. Choose the Staff Member whose schedule needs to be adjusted

  3. Click Schedule

  4. Modify the daily schedule as needed for this specific Staff Member

  5. Click Update

If you have multiple Staff Members where a similar adjustment is needed, repeat these steps for the other Staff Members.

Once all the changes are saved for each Staff Member, their new availability will be used for creating or updating Appointments. You can confirm this by visiting the Appointments calendar and see the expanded or adjusted times.

If you are looking to reduce the amount of time for available Appointments, you'll need to first modify the Staff Member and then the Location. So you'll follow the above steps first for Staff Members and then for Locations.
