How do I block out time when I won't be available for appointments?

  • LAST UPDATE: 7/18/2022

  • PRICING TIER: All

  • APPOINTMENT VERSION: Single & Multiple

On the appointment grid in Site Administration, you will see a Quick Reserve (

) icon and an Add (

) icon for each open time slot. These two icons allow you to block out times when you will not be available for Appointments, such as when you have to block out a lunch break.

The quick reserve icon automatically blocks out an individual time slot, however, the Add icon allows you to add an appointment or a reserve time that spans between multiple appointment slots. You can also set up a recurring reserve time from this page. It also allows you to enter a reason for reserving the time. This reason then displays on the Appointment Grid.

After setting a reserve time, you will see a Unreserve (

) icon in that time slot. Click the icon to unreserve the slot. Once the reserved time is removed, the time slot will once again be available for Appointments.

How To Create Reserve Times

1. From the Appointment Grid in Site Administration, select an open time slot as if you were going to create an appointment. Then select the Create Reserve Time tab at the top left corner of the Appointment Detail pop-up window.

Don't see the "Quick Reserve" Icon or "Reserve Time" tab?

You will need to disable the preference that turns off the ability to reserve time slots in your account.

  • Single Appointment Version - GO TO: Settings tab > Appointments > Preference #27 > No

  • Multiple Appointment Version - GO TO: Settings tab > Appointments > Preference #21 > No
