Enabling the SMS Plug-in for the First Time

Step 1 - Upon selecting the Marketplace and select ‘SMS Appointment Notifications’ plug-in, you will be navigated to the SMS Appointment Notifications plug-in page.

Step 2 – Select the locations to be activated by clicking on the ‘Select SMS Locations’ dropdown and click on ‘Enable Plug-in’

Step 3 – You will see two options, ‘DaySmart Brand and Campaign’ and ‘Register your Brand’ and by default, ‘DaySmart Brand and Campaign’ is selected by client can select as per their needs.

Step 4 – Select DaySmart Brand and Campaign option and click on Confirm Selection button. You will be able to successfully enable the plug-in using the DaySmart Brand and Campaign.

Step 5 – Select ‘Manage Credits’ tab to add credit to continue the SMS notifications.

Step 6 – Click on ‘Settings’ >> Notifications >> SMS Templates on the left navigation tab to activate the SMS notification types.

Note – You will see 7 system defined notifications and 10 users defined notification types. By default, all notification types will be inactive.

Step 7 – You can click on the notification type that you would like to activate.

Note – You will not have the privileges to edit/update the template but will be able to add the tokens by selecting the ‘Insert Additional Info’ dropdown.

While sending the text message to your customers, the system will replace the business name with your business name, Date and Time with the system date and time.

Note – If you choose to be on DaySmart Brand and Campaign, ‘Powered by DaySmart’ will be sent in all text messages along with the actual text message.
