Brand Registration Update


Due to recent changes in text carrier regulations (such as T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, etc.), text communication features within DaySmart Appointments software are at risk of being blocked by cell phone carriers.

To ensure your account is not affected, our team is taking steps to provide assistance to register your business within your DaySmart Appointments Account.

Account Notification
As a Headquarters admin you will be prompted upon logging into your account asking to fill in your Brand Registration.

Note: By clicking Not Right Now you risk discontinuing SMS services. Brand Registration Set Up must be completed.


Upon selecting Continue, you will be navigated to Brand Registration form.

Entity Type: Choose an option from Private, Public, Non-Profit, or Sole Proprietor.
Display Name: Brand/Marketing name of the business.
Company Name: The legal name of the business.
EIN: Employee Identification Number is a unique identifier that is assigned to a business entity so that it can easily be identified by the Internal Revenue Service. The Employee Identification Number is made up of nine digits and is formatted as XX-XXXXXXX.
Phone: This will be the phone number for your business.
Street, City, State, Postal Code: This will be the business address.
Email: This will be the business email address.
Vertical: A specific industry or market that focuses on a particular service(s).
Privacy Policy URL: Provide your company’s privacy policy URL here.
Terms and Conditions URL: Provide your company’s terms and conditions URL.

If details (Company Name, Address, Street, City or State) entered do not match with the official records. System will display the following message.


If details have been entered correctly but ‘Brand’ creation is unsuccessful, users will be notified with the message below on the home page and the same on the SMS plug in page.

Additional changes have occurred that are now calling action to be taken on TinyURL, Bitly, and other links in the SMS templates. In a continued effort to limit SPAM messaging these link will now need to be branded as well. This will need to be done by following the brand registration process for whichever URL creator you used. Known links are listed below.

Once the branding process is completed you will need to supply the new branded link to support so they can update the SMS template with the new short URL.
