Daily Appointment Service Limits

What are Daily Appointment Service Limits?

Daily Appointments Limits are designed to limit the number of Appointments Customers can book based on the day of week or a specified exception date. Appointments booked via Site Admin are not limited by this feature.

Available to subscribers on a Gold (or higher) pricing tier, Daily Appointment Limits will allow HQ or Location Administrators to establish those daily (day of week) limits, or exceptions by a specific date.

How to set Daily Appointment Service Limits

For those subscribers with the applicable pricing tier, a new “Daily Limits” page will show within the Services' navigation. HQ or Locations Admins can select the Service they would like limits applied and select to the “Daily Limits” page listed below the Services’ Profile.

The Daily Limits Page displays a table with the Days of Week, Monday – Sunday. This table will only show the days of the week that your Location is open.

In the text box, a numerical value can be entered that represents the maximum number of Appointments to be scheduled by the Customer.

  • 0 = No Appointments for this Service can be booked for that Day

  • Null or empty = Unlimited number of Appointment Service bookings

After adding your limits, select the “Add” button if adding limits for the 1st time or the “Update” button to save any edits.

Once a daily Service limit has been set, the Customer View application (Classic and Next-Gen) will detect and limit the number of Appointments that can be booked. The threshold applies to each available date and is not the date on which the Appointment is created but rather the date on which the Appointment is booked for.

Daily Appointment Service Exceptions

In addition to Day of the Week limits, Admins will be able to add Exception Limits. Admins can select a date via a date picker and add their numbered limitation in the text box. Only 1 exception can be created per Date, once added, this exception will override the daily limit set for that day of week. For all future exceptions, Users will have the ability to edit/delete.
